A

-They can specify the physical properties of a product eg colour size.Then test a random sample to check they meet these specifications

-They can monitor how many products get returned and how many customer complaints they get.Firm can decide what level of returns or complaints it is comfortable with

-They can carry out customer surveys to assess how satisfied customers are with quality

-Issues may be spotted before they have finished making the products reducing waste
-Process can be expensive.But the cost to the business would be greater if dissatisfied customers returned their products or stopped buying their products

-Tqm aims to make quality the responsibility of every employee.So that quality remains consistent,they are encouraged to think about the needs of a customer.The focus is on getting things right the first time which reduces costs by cutting down waste
-After sales service as well as on the quality of production increases customer satisfication

-Takes a long time to introduce.Workers need training so that they see quality as a responsibility employees can get demotivated as it may seem like extra work

A

1) It may become expensive to carry out all the necessary quality inspections

2)Business can become overwhelmed by orders and cut corners to make products quicker

3)One solution is take on more employees but it takes time to train new workers

4)Business may become a franchisor franchise can involve alot of staff training and regular inspections due to quality standards being maintained

5)Business might outsource some tasks (buy another firm to do them.It can be expensive to outsource a firm that delivers high quality
