Meaning: This expression is used to finish an argument when two people disagree.
Example: I think you are wrong but let’s agree to disagree.

Example: It turns out he wasn’t guilty.

Meaning: to make fun of someone, or make what they are doing more difficult.

Meaning: An action that causes emotional pain.
Example: The email she sent me was really hurtful.

Meaning: A more informal way to say - I forgive you
Example: (a) Man, sorry about what I said. (b) Ok dude, we’re cool.

Meaning: Someone is buying all the beers.
Ditch someone
Meaning: to leave a friend or a date alone to do something else more interesting.
Example: My girlfriend ditched me to go and get a drink with one of her friends.
