Challenges of the Elizabeth line
Cost £18.8bn, which is almost £4bn more than originally budgeted. This was caused by low productivity
Delayed by 4 years due to COVID19 halfing the number of workers that could be on the worksites. 4000-2000(

What were the results of the London Cycling lane improvements.
7% increase in cycling in inner London and a 22% increase in outer London compared to spring 2019
Reduced the overreliance on public transport marginally
Got more people exercising
Lowered congestion and pollution marginally
Evaluation of cycling lanes
Project could be seen as ineffective to aiding the economic situation of London as the majority of people heading to work are unlikely to cycle, making these additions only positive for leisure purposes furthermore these changes could even be seen as a negative as certain projects such as adding cycle lanes to roads could result in a decrease in road space for cars or busses, increasing congestion
