Q

What are the 2 systems in plants?

A
  • Shoot system: All the plant parts above the ground (leaves, stem, flowers, seeds). Responsible for the transport of resources, absorbtion of oxygen and CO2, reproduction and photosynthesis.
  • Root system: Below ground, responsoble for absorbing water and nutrients from the soil.
