What is a WAN?
WAN is a Wide Area Network which allows people from other places to connect together. WAN COVERS A LARGE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA. Examples of a WAN are International banking and ATM machines are WAN, the internet is also WAN
What is a peer to peer network?
a peer to peer network is a when you take the data from another computer. some old games are peer to peer and offered a severe advantage to the host of the game
What is a router and what is its job?
A router is a computer. A router is what sends the data to the computer and takes the data from them. It is the router that decides what the ip adress of the computer is. Routers contain a routing table which holds all of the adresses to send to the different computers. hubs decrease bandwidth by sending unnessesary data packets have the ip adress it came from where it is going and also has the order it needs to be built in
what is bandwidth?
Bandwidth is the frequency something is on. it is also how fast your internet is. i.e. 1mbps 10mbps 900kbps 1gbps
what is bandwidth usually measured in?
Mega Bits per second(MBps) or Killa Bits per second(KBps) or Giga Bits per second(GBps)
What is LAN?
LAN is a Local Area Network and allows people to connect to each-other . LAN COVERS A SMALL GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION. Examples of a LAN is a school or work network and a home network between computers and or consoles

wired because people cannot get onto your internet as easily as you are using a cable and cannot get through the firewall
