what’s the difference between government and parliament
parliament is responsible for making laws and ensuring the processes and rules have been followed. whereas government is responsible for proposing the laws and administering the necessary policies to run the state.
what’s the difference between the government and opposition
The government’s role is to create and implement policies, propose laws, manage public services, and make decisions on behalf of the country. Whereas the oppositions role is to challenge and question government on policy matters.
whats the passage of a bill through parliament
introduction and first reading, second reading, commitment stag, third reading, the bill passes the first house, same procedure in the second house, the bill passes passes the second house, royal assent, proclamation, and the act becomes a law

Statute Law is the law made by Parliament. It is introduced in a Bill and, if passed, becomes an Act
