What is Phsing? How is this a threat?
Fraud teqniques used to steal personal information. Hackers can withdraw moneyy,open illegal accounts or gain access to important data.
What is Brute force? How is this a threat?
An error method used to decode passwords. Theft of data
What is Denial of service? How is this a threat?
Flooding a server with useless traffic to make it overloaded. Company loses revenue,reputation and productivity.
What is Data interception? How is this a threat?
Attacker moniters data streams and picks out personal information. Disclosure and theft of co operate data
What is SQL injection? How is this a threat?
Code that is injected and executed by the server. Reveals private data that can be deleted
How can you prevent a malware attack?
Firewall,spam filters,Antivirus,Antisoftware or Anitspam
How can you prevent against Phshing?
Strong Security Software and being aware of spotting them
How can you prevent a Brute Force attack?
Lock out policy,progressive delay or Captcha Form
How can you prevent a Denial of service attack?
Strong firewall and packet filters
How can you prevent Data interception and theft?
Locking computers,Logging off,Encryption and strong passwords
How can you prevent against SQL injections?
Penetration testing,Validation on input boxes and database permission
