Availability heuristic
mental shortcut that relies on immediate examples that come to a given person’s mind when evaluating a specific topic, concept, method or decision.
Attribute substitution
when an individual makes a judgment that is computationally complex, and instead substitutes a more easily calculated heuristic attribute.
Base rate fallacy
if presented with related base rate information and specific information, the mind tends to ignore the former and focus on the latter.
