Care should be taken to ensure that the void in the centre of the circle becomes an integral part of the design. Sympathetic placement of the material is important. Wire, picks or natural stems may be inserted into the base to achieve this design. In most cases, a formal wreath has an edging of leaves around the outside and inside.

This style has an upright back and is finished with any combination of the following: tissue, paper, cellophane, fabric, natural or woven wrap and a tie or bow. The stems must be neatly finished and covered. A minimum amount of concealed wire is permissible.

Accessories are optional. Minimum amount to the concealed wire is permissible.

Secured with a binding tie or this design may be finished with any combination of the following/ tissue, paper, cellophane, fabric, natural or woven wrap and a tie or bow is optional. The stems must be neatly finished and covered. A minimum amount of concealed wire is permissible. Use of a frame is permissible.
