Pacifism
It is a belief about war. War is the wrong way to solve differences between nations. Pacifist is opposed to war.
Quakers
1) A religious group known as Society of friends
2) Believed that all people were equal in God’s eyes and that people should be treated equally.

Tax
Money that people pay to the government.
Profit
The extra money people earn after all other expenses have been payed.
Puritans
1) A religious group that wanted to purify the Church of England
2) They believed in strict disciple and high moral standards.
3) A protestant group in England and America

Separatist
A group of Puritans left the Church of England.
Indentured servant
A person who agreed for 5 to 7 years of work without getting paid. And intern got to go to America. With everything they need for free because they’re going to work.
Rebel
A person who uses force to oppose the government.
Slavery
A cruel system which treated people as property and made work without pay and have no rights.
Export
A product made or grown in one country and shipped outside that country for sale.
Cash crop
A product grown to sell and make money not for the farmers own use.
Dissenter
A person who disagrees with a government or religious authority.
Merchant
A person whose business is buying and selling goods for a profit.
Parliament
The lawmaking body of England. Is made up of the House of Lords and the House of Commons.
