What is Hacking?
Illegally using a computer or device to access information stored on another computer system to spread a virus.
What is escalation of privileges?
Obtaining rights to access and edit information that normally users do not have.
What is Information Disclosure?
Information passed to another person or group without the owners permission.
What is Modification of Data?
Data that is entered, changed, stored or deleted without the owners permission.
What is Inaccessible Data?
Data that is not available to those who should have authorisation, this may be due to account lockout or denial of service.
What is destruction?
The permanent deletion of data through malware such as a virus or the deliberate erasure of data without the owners permission.
What is theft?
Stealing computer based information from an unknown victim with the intent of compromising privacy or obtaining confidential information.
