What is a syllable?
A syllable is the sound of a vowel (A, E, I, O, U) that is created when pronouncing the letters A, E, I, O, U, or Y.
What does adjectives with one syllable and those ajdectives with two syllables that end on -_,-_,-_ and -_ take to form
- the comperative form and
- the superlative form?
To form the comperative form, the adjectives ending in
-y, -er, -le and -ow take an -er
to form the superlative form they take a -est

when does the adjective ending with a “y” changes into “ie”?
when the ajdective ends on a “consonant + y”, then the “y” changes into “ie”
