What are the types of teams?
-Executive teams & command teams
-Project teams or Cross-functional teams

Identify and solve problems, make decisions about day-to-day operation and production and set goals for the organization’s future. (ex. Board of directors, administrative units)
Executive teams & command teams
Often composed of individuals with different backgrounds to develop new products and identify new solutions. (ex. Commissions, design teams, negotiation teams)
Project teams or Cross-functional teams
Work outside the usual supervisory structures of the company. (ex. Review panels, quality circles)
Advisory teams or parallel teams
Responsible for organizations’ tangible output; create products (production teams) or deliver services (service teams).
Work teams
Specialized teams that generate product or service through highly coordinated actions. (ex. Sports team, military units)
Action teams
have a specific, well-defined purpose and exist for only as long as the project.
Task forces
use specialized tools or equipment to accomplish their appointed tasks.
