What is the difference between mass and volume?
Mass is the amount of matter in an object and volume is how much space is occupied by an object.
How do you calculate the mean of something?
Add up all the numbers then divide it by the size of the data set.
How do you find the median?
It is the number in the middle of a data set.
What is a dependent variable?
What you measure in an experiment.
What is an independent variable?
The variable that is manipulated in an experiment.
How do you find the variance?
Determine the mean of your data, find the difference of each value from the mean, square each difference, calculate the squared values, then divide the sum by the sample or population.
How do you find the range?
The difference between the biggest and smallest number.
How many milligrams are there in 1 gram?
1000 mg
