Q

High Lateral MI:

  • Ischemic Leads
  • Reciprocal Leads
  • Occluded Artery
  • Note
A
  • I and aVL (Often w/ V5 or V6)
  • III, aVF, V1 and V2
  • Left Anterior Descending
  • Ischemia will be greater in I and aVL than it will in V5 and V6.

Q

Inferior MI:

  • Ischemic Leads
  • Reciprocal Leads
  • Occluded Artery
  • Note (2)
A
  • II, III, and aVF
  • Varies (I and aVL)
  • Right Coronary Artery (90%), and Left Circumflex
  • If ischemia is noticed in V5 and V6, MI is most likely migrating laterally to left vent. However if pt presents with low BP assess for Right sided involvement.
  • Look for Classic Triad:
    > JVD
    > Hypotension
    > Clear Lung Sounds

Q

True Posterior MI:

  • Ischemic Leads
  • Reciprocal Leads
  • Occluded Artery
A
  • V8 and V9
  • V1 and V2
  • Left Circumflex and Posterior Descending
  • V! and V2 normal presents with downward QRS or positive T waves, when positive QRS or positive T waves are present look posteriorly.
