Q

What is the difference between velocity and speed?

A

Speed is the magnitude of the velocity (distance divided by time taken), whereas velocity also has a directional component (displacement divided by time taken). This makes speed a scalar and velocity a vector

Q

What are the 5 xuvat equations?

A
  • x = 1/2(u+v)t
  • v^2 = u^2 + 2ax
  • x = ut + 1/2at^2
  • x = vt - 1/2at^2
  • v = u + at
