Q

Refrigerant Dehums?

A
  • Preferred temp between 15 degrees and 30 degrees
  • Machines designed as Low Grain Refrigerant (LGR) offer a significant improvement to earlier models

Q

Desiccant Dehums?

A
  1. Works by adsorption of moisture from the air into a desiccant material
  2. Material capable of absorbing moisture when heated and releasing it again
  3. Often venting to outside of property

Q

Why do desiccant dehums sometimes cause issue?

A
  1. Often requires venting to outside of property so difficulty deploying them, security measures etc.
  2. Some can avoid this by having an attached condensing unit
