Q

What is the staining potential from acidic fire residues affecting plastic laminates and how could this be stopped?

A
  • Unless acidic fire residues are promptly removed, some laminate surfaces can degrade & may become heavily stained/yellowed
-Clean initially with dilute alkaline detergent & rinse to stop further damage.
  • Specialised restoration may be effective if staining remains after normal cleaning.
