What are the 6 boundaries of the axilla?
A
Apex: cervicoaxillary canal (passage between neck and axilla, bounded by 1st rib, clavicle, and superior edge of scapula)
Base: skin, subcutaneous tissue, axillary fascia
Anterior wall: pec major, pec minor, deep fascia
Posterior wall: scapula, subscapularis, teres major, lat dorsi
Medial wall: 1-4 ribs, intercostal muscles 1-4, serratus anterior
Lateral wall: intertuburcular groove
