What are examples of verbal communication?
- Verbal minimal encouragers

What are examples of non-verbal communication?
Minimal encouragers, e.g. the listener nods their heads so that the speaker knows they are being heard.
OR
Appropriate facial expression, e.g screwing up the nose or mouth, a smile or a frown or some other facial reaction to acknowledge the feelings or sentiment of what is being said.
