A
- The increasing integration of economics around the world, particularly through the movement of goods and services and capital across borders.
- There are also broader cultural, political and environmental dimensions of globalisation.

- Underground telegraphy cables which accelerated business and trade.
- Trade, in 1492 Columbus reached Americas and traded in raw materials from colonies.
- Cooperation, since WW1 ended in 1918 there have been global military organisations.

- Cultural.
- Political - dominance in wealth.
- Social - increasing migration.
- Environmental - global agreements.
- Economic - Spread of FDI.

What is modern globalisation?
A
The world becoming more deeply inter-connected such as being able to communicate with people who live far away and being able to travel.

- Shallow - LIC - Poorest people who are usually isolated from global influence.
- MIC- Local people are still relied on for produce and have global culture differences.
- Deep - HIC - Majority of people consume imported products.
