Q

What are the 5 stages of investigation and analysis?

A

1) Consulting documentation to investigate current data storage requirements or data flow

2) Questionnaire on staff/ customers for a widespread investigation

3) Interviewing staff / customers / employees is suitable when an analyst requires a lot of information from a small number of people

4) Observing the current system in practice is suitable for gathering information first-hand instead of having to rely on others

5) Research similar systems using desk-based research

Consulting, Questionnaire, Interviewing, Observation, Research
