Equipment Required:
Clean Floor with entrance block
Clean Framed Queen excluder
Clean Brood Box
Clean frames with foundation
Clean Crownboard
Clean bee escape cover
Eke
English Feeder

Procedure:
Remove old hive away from current position
Place clean floor on original site
Place clean QX on the clean floor
Place clean Brood Box with foundation frames on QX
Remove 4 to 5 frames from centre to create gap

Open old hive and remove supers. onto upturned crownboard
attempt to locate queen. if found secure her safely and place her into new hive between frames of foundation.
take frames individually and shake bees into gap in new hive
shake all bees from brood box and from supers into new hive use bee brush if required.
Place clean crownboard onto new hive.

Feed with 2:1 sugar syrup until all frames are drawn.
Add eke

If no flow on then supers can be placed above the feeder with eke

check levels of syrup every few days

Check within a week to check comb drawing and for eggs/larvae. If eggs/larvae present then qx can be removed.

manipulate frames if outer ones not drawn.

Remove feeder
