Organised, professional, corporate
Professional crime
-When an individual in power takes advantage of their position to commit a crime
-likely offender= a professional
-likely victim= client or customer

Organised Crime
-A crime committed by a group of people with a hierarchical internal structure usually for a substaintial profit
Corporate crime
-crimes committed by companies rather than individuals usually a corporation is involved in illegal activity
Moral crime
-Actions that violate societies normative or moral code
State crime
-Actions by a government or its representatives that violate internationally recognised human rights
Technological crime
-Criminal activities conducted using digital technology and the internet
What are the three types of personal crime
Hate, domestic, honour
Domestic abuse
-A pattern of abusive behavior used to gain or keep power and control over another person in a relationship
Hate crime
-A crime motivated by prejudice usually involving violence
Honour Crime
-Violent crimes or other forms of abuse that are carried out in order to protect the ‘honour’ of a family or community
