(DLA)
Three basic actions are:

- List the hazards

(DIM)
There are three basic actions:
- Determine control effects
- Identify control options
- Analyze the mission

Define High Risk Course
Condition or state where an elevated probability of loss or an increased level of severity is likely or imminent.

What type of courses are considered high risk?
- Firefighting
- Live Fire
- Combat Pool
- Freedom Hall

Discuss the difference between VOLUNTARY and INVOLUNTARY courses
- Voluntary; Sailor has voluntary enrolled and has the ability to drop on request.
- Involuntary; Training in which a Sailor is enrolled thru accession training or follow on specialty school.

Discuss what DROP ON REQUEST is and the procedures for conducting one.
The student needs to make such intentions known. The student will be immediately and expeditiously removed from training area. Written summary of actions is entered in students’ service record and a copy is kept in Commands permanent records.

Discuss what TRAINING TIME OUT is and the procedures for conducting one.
Any situation when students or instructors express concern for safety or a need to clarify procedures. Training will immediately cease until the situation is returned to a safe state.

Discuss the purpose of the EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN and how often it is reviewed.
Internal plan implemented immediately upon the event of a mishap to aid persons involved and to safeguard the scene. Conduct quarterly procedural walk throughs and fully exercise annually. Include all emergency response agencies where practical.

Discuss periodic requirements for SAFETY STAND DOWNS.
One safety stand down a year or at direction of Commanding Officer.
