Define high-risk course
Elevated probability of loss or an increased level of severity is likely
Voluntary course
The ability to drop on request and return to his or her original rating
Involuntary course
Training in which a sailor is in rolled through ascension training
DOR
Drop on request
DOR procedure
The student only needs to request DOR.
A written summary of action taken is entered in the students service record and a copy is maintained in the command permanent records.
What is a training time out
Any situation where a student or instructor expresses concern for safety, or A need to clarify procedures or requirements.
EAP
Emergency action plan
What is the purpose of the emergency action plan
An internal plan to aid persons and control and or safeguard the scene.
Note: The CO or OIC must in sure the EAP compliance with locally established emergency procedures.
Periodic requirements for safety stand-downs.
Conduct one safety stand down per year. Or at the discretion of the commanding officer
Mishap reporting
Report and record all training related mishaps and injuries.
Site augment plans
CCA develops site argument plans, CCA submit negative augment plans as required. The LSO in conjunction with DEEs/LSs/participating in activities,and insurance structures are certified to instruct utilizing safety requirements, precautions, and safeguards relative to the course they teach.
Special course indicator code
Voluntary training or formal high-risk training that is designated as voluntary is a dinner fied by a special indicator code of “A”or “D” in the corporate enterprise training activity resource system.
