These are the rules of engagment on the fire line. They ALL need to be taken into account ALL the time. they can be split into sections.

Fire Behavior: Fire Weather - Keep informed on Fire Weather conditions and forecasts.
Two
Fire Behavior: Fire is Doing - Know what your fire is doing at all times.
Three
Fire Behavior: Base all actions on current and expected fire behaviour.
Four
Fire Line Safety: Identify escape routes and safety zones and make them know.
Five
Fire Line Safety: Post lookouts where there is possible danger.
Six
FireLine Safety: Be alert, keep calm and think clearly and act decisively
Seven
Organisational Control: Maintain prompt communication with your forces, your supervisor and adjoining forces
Eight
Organisational Control: Give clear instructions and make sure they are understood.
Nine
Organisational Control: Maintain control of your forces at all times.
Ten
After considering all fire orders - Fight Fire aggressively having provided for safety first.
