First Amendment
Guarantees citizens freedom of religion, freedom to assemble, freedom to petition, freedom of the press, and freedom of speech
Second Amendment
Gives people the right to keep and bear weapons
Third Amendment
No quartering of troops in homes
Fourth Amendment
Says no one can search through your home and possessions without a search warrant
Fifth Amendment
Gives you the right to remain silent if being accused of a crime, the right to due process, and guarantees no double jeopardy
Sixth Amendment
Grants individuals the right to a speedy and public criminal trial with a fair jury and a lawyer
Seventh Amendment
Allows individuals the right to a trial with a fair jury in lawsuits above a certain amount of money (used to be $20) in a civil trial
Eighth Amendment
Bail should not be excessive and there should be no cruel or unusual punishment
Ninth Amendment
Individual rights of the people do not need to be numbered or listed in order to have the rights
Tenth Amendment
States rights
