Argument
A reason for acting or believing

A statement composed of an evaluative term and an object of evaluation which evaluates something which exists, occurs, or some relationship between two or more things

Consists of making a comparison between two similar cases, and inferring that what is true in one case is true in another
Reasoning from cause
Consists of inferring that one factor which is known or observed is responsible for producing something else which may not be known or observed
Reasoning from Characteristic to Descriptive Generalization
Consists of inferring that one observed factor is a characteristic of something which is not observed
