A

A Water pipe running through a roof or deck for a hose connection would require a flushing. In some installations when exposed water pipes extend through a floor in a building, a flushing is required around the pipe at the floor line to prevent water from seeping to the floor below.

The cover of gravity tanks shall be vented with a return bend vent pipe with an area not less than the area of the down-feed riser pipe, and the vent shall be screened with a corrosion-resestant screen of not less than 16 by 20 mesh per inch.
