What is apoptosis and what are the 2 types?
A
Apoptosis is a programmed cell death that stops defective cells from replicating their error. They trigger a caspase cascade that utilises proteolytic events to break cell down and get it consumed by other cells.
The 2 types are extrinsic and intrinsic.
