What is the compensation point?
A
The point at which the rate of photosynthesis in a plant exactly matches its rate of respiration.

Name a way to work out the compensation point for a plant.
A
Measure rate at which oxygen is produced and used by plant at different light intensities.
Because photosynthesis produces oxygen and respiration uses it, the compensation point is the light intensity at which oxygen is being used as quickly as its produced.
