Q

Main rule for successive percent changes

A

When you are doing 2 percent increases in a row, the total percent increase will always be more than the number you’d get if you just added the 2 percentages together. If you have 2 successive percent decreases, the overall percent decrease will be less than the number you get if you just added the two together.
