What are equitable remedies?
A
Equitable remedies are non-monetary remedies granted when monetary damages are inadequate to provide full relief. They are discretionary and subject to equitable defenses.

- Inadequate Legal Remedy – Monetary damages must be insufficient.
- Feasibility of Enforcement – The court must be able to enforce the remedy.
- Balance of Hardships – The benefit to the plaintiff must outweigh the burden on the defendant.
- No Unclean Hands – The plaintiff must not have engaged in wrongful conduct related to the claim.
- No Undue Hardship or Unfairness – The remedy must not create an excessive burden on the defendant or third parties.
