Above the nacelle

Forward end of the engine installation

Hartzell 3-bladed constant speed, oil/gas operated, fully feathering propellers

Propeller governor on the engine
What protects the propellers from inadvertent overspeed?
A second governor
Where is the starter/generator situated?
Driven from an accessory pad at the rear of the engine
How does each generator provide its power and to what?
28V DC
Connected in parallel through circuit breakers to the aircraft electrical system main 3-element busbar
