Runway - Clear/Aircraft on R/W
Cleared T/O or Line up
Line Up Checks
Pitot heat - Off not required ADF timer - reset AI - Erect HSI/RMI - +/- 2° of runway heading Toes Clear - After T/O clearance given
After Take Off Checks
VSI - Positive ASI - 75-80kts ( Exact Number ) Altimeter - 100 Flaps - to half sir Ts & Ps - Within limits Boost pump - Low Flaps Indicator - Up
HASELL Checks
Height - TBC
Airframe - Flaps Up
Security - Harness Locked and Tight, No loose articles, All equipment Secured
Engine - Throt/ Prop 18/26, Mixture as set, fuel flow, Ts & Ps within limits, fuel xxx lbs sufficient, left right balanced, boost pump low.
Location - Within training area
Lookout - Clear of clouds, other aircraft and populace.
