Where is the first place to check at the start of the shift for AVI Pre-Bookings?

What is the best format to use when adding Pre-Bookings to Outlook Calendar? e.g. AVI
FLIGHT DESCRIPTION (998… PRE-BOOKING NUMBER) e.g. NZ615 2xPups (998-02013723).
Where do you write down any Pre-Booking information from Outlook Calendar?
On the Flight Movement Sheet in the Outbound Column.
When checking the Pre-Bookings at the start of Cargo shift, what is a good idea to have a look around the Cargo Area for?
Check to see if there are any Empty Cages that relate to any of the Pre-Bookings and check if any Cargo Agent has already filled out a Con-Note for the related bookings attached to Empty Cage.
If the AVI is travelling in a Cage that has been delivered to ZQN, what must you remember to ask the Customer todo before starting filling out the Outbound Con-Note?
Ask the customer to Sign and Print their name of the DELIVERY COPY for the Empty Cage and give the Customer the CONSIGNEE COPY to keep.
When you grab a new Green Con-Note to fill in, how do you get the data to fill out the information? (5x)
- Goto Outlook Calendar and find Booking information, Copy the Booking number e.g. 998-02013723, 2. Goto Express AWB (Ctrl+1), 3. select ◉ Reference, 4. Paste the 998-… Booking number into Air Waybill field, 5. click Retrieve.
When filling out the Green Con-Note with Pre-Booking information, what is a good idea to check?
Check what AVI weight the customer has chosen and also what price the customer paid for the Pre-Booking.
For up to 20kg AVI weight, what are the rates for ZQN to AKL or WLG, and ZQN to CHC.
AKL & WLG = $198, CHC = $120
What 1 piece of important information do you have to remember to write on the Con-Note, Where? and Why?
Write the Pre-Booking number e.g. 998-02013723, in the Senders Reference field. This is important for when you later need to load the Pre-Booking in Manawa quickly before you Assign the Con-Note number.
What 5x fields on the Con-Note do you leave blank and only fill out when the customer arrives?
NO OF PIECES, ACTUAL WEIGHT (KGS), CHARGEABLE WEIGHT (KGS), ACCEPTED BY & TIME.
Once you have filled out the Green Con-Note, what do you also need have with each Con-Note and can Pre-Fill out?
You need 1x NATIONAL CARGO LIABILITY FORM and LIVE ANIMAL CHECKSHEET for each Con-Note.
On the LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FORM, only fill out the?
Only fill out the DATE field, leave the customer to fill out the PRINT NAME & SIGNATURE fields when they arrive.
On the LIVE ANIMAL CHECKSHEET tick YES to all questions except numbers?
Numbers 7. & 8. should be ticked Rectified.
What number do you write on the bottom of the LIVE ANIMAL CHECKSHEET?
You write the Con-Note 086… number in the Consignment note number field.
Where should you keep all of the Con-Notes and Liability Forms before the customer arrives?
Attach them to the Cargo Prices Clipboard
When it gets closer to the flight, who should you let know and what should you also ask them?
Let the LOMAS of the flight know they are going to have a live animal on flight and if small, ask them if they want it put in either the BULK or on a PKC.
If you need to send a Dead Weight Statement before the customer has arrived, should you include the Live AVI on the page (Fax1)?
Yes you should include them and whether they will be in BULK or PKC, you only need to give an estimate weight if it is likely to weigh greater than 50kg.
If you have 2x Cages travelling on the same flight or a really big dog travelling, what can you do to prepare earlier. (3x Steps)
You can grab a dolley from the Graveyard and bring inside BMU to put a PKC on top and leave by Cargo Desk to you can put Cages on easily once customer arrives.
Once the customer calls to tell you they have arrived, what 5x items should you take out with you to meet them?
The Cargo Price Clipboard with pre-filled out Con-Note and Liability Form, the Cargo Trolley and any Empty Cages that are related to Booking.
If the customer arrives with 2x Dog cages and you have 2x Con-Notes, what is the first thing you should ask customer?
Which Dog belongs to which Con-Note, you don’t want to mix up which dog gets sent to who.
If the customer arrives with their own Con-Note that they have pre-filled out themselves, what do you do with the Con-Note you have prepared earlier and what number do you need to update on a separate form?
You can throw away the Con-Note you have created and simply use the Customer’s Con-Note, you will need to change the Con-Note 086… number written on the Liability Form.
After checking which cage belongs to which Con-Note (or if only a single Cage travelling) what is the next thing you should check?
Check the Cage is Acceptable to travel.
What materials can the cage not be made out of?
Wire Mesh or Fibre Board.
What can the cage not have on top?
A popup hatch in the lid.
If the cage is made of two halves, what must the cage have and what 2x things are not acceptable?
A two step fastener method (usually bolts), cable ties or plastic latches are not acceptable.
