What are perpendicular lines?
Lines that intersect at a 90 degree angle
What are skew lines?
Non-coplanar lines that don’t intersect
What are parallel planes?
Planes that don’t intersect?
What is a transversal?
A line that intersects two coplanar lines at two different points.
What are corresponding angles?
Angles that lie on the same side of the transversal and the the same sides of the lines.
What are Alt. Int. Angles
Non adjacent angles that lie on opposite sides of the transversal and on the interior of the lines
What are alt. Ext. angles?
Angles that lie on opposite sides of the transversal and on the outside of the lines.
What are same side interior angles?
Angles that lie on the same side of the transversal on the inside of the lines.

If 2 parallel lines are cut by a transversal then the corr. Angles are congruent.

If two corr. Ang. Are congruent the the lines are parallel
What are parallel lines?
Coplanar lines that do not intersect
