I like arts and the liberal arts.
나는 예술하고 교양을 좋아한다.
My hobbies are playing musical instruments, cooking, reading philosophy and poetry, watching foreign movies, learning foreign languages and cultures, and traveling and sightseeing.
나의 취미는 악기 연주, 요리, 철학과 시 읽기, 외국 영화 보기, 외국어와 외국 문화 배우기, 여행하고 구경하는 것이다
Among these, my favourite hobby is studying foreign languages and cultures.
이 중에서 내가 가장 좋아하는 취미는 외국어와 외국문화 배우기다
I especially like learning about Korea.
특히 한국에 대해 배우는 것이 좋다!
Though these days I do not have a lot of time, I do want keep up my hobbys!
비록 요즘은 여가 시간이 많이 없지만, 아직은 나의 취미생활을 잘 지켜 나가고 있는 거 같다!
The day before yesterday, I arrived in Daegu.
그저께 대구에 도착했다
Daegu is smaller and more peaceful than Seoul.
대구가 서울보다 더 작고 평화롭다
Seoul is too crowded and complex.
서울은 너무 붐비고 복잡하다
Yesterday, I climbed Gawisan and explored with my friend’s family.
어제 친구의 가족들과 갓바위를 등산하고 구경했다
It was a fun and delightful time!
재밌고 즐거운 시간이었다!
Today I will go downtown with my friends.
오늘은 친구들과 시내에 갈 것이다
My favourite Korean food is gochuchang bulgogi.
내가 가장 좋아하는 한국 음식은 고추장 불고기이다
Gochuchang bulgogi is a little spicy but really delicious.
고추장 불고기는 조금 맵지만 정말 맛있다
It is charcoal grilled and can be wrapped with rice, kimchi, garlic, onion, and lettuce and eaten.
숯불에 익혀 밥, 김치, 마늘, 양파, 상추로 쌈을 싸 먹을 수 있다
The many different tastes go well together as a wrap.
쌈 안에서 여러 맛이 잘 어울린다
If you come to Korea, you must try this food!
한국에 오면 꼭 먹어봐야 하는 음식이다!
I think animals and people are a little similar.
난 동물이 인간과 좀 비슷한다고 생각한다
Animals have souls too.
동물도 영혼을 가지고 있다
They also have feelings.
감정도 가진다
Therefore, personally, I think we should not eat animals.
그래서 개인적으로 동물을 먹고 싶지 않다
However, I do not have many choices because of my hypoglycemic diet, so I am a bit sad.
그렇지만 저혈당 다이어트 때문에 선택이 많지않아서 슬프다
I love animals.
동물을 사랑한다
My family consists of my father, mother, older brother, and myself.
우리 가족은 아빠, 엄마, 형 하고 나 있다
My father is creative, but my mom is realistic.
아버지는 창의적이지만 어머니는 현실적이다
My brother likes old things.
우리 형은 오래된 것을 좋아한다
I like Eastern things.
난 동양의 것을 좋아한다
My brother likes the French culture and langauge, but I like the Korean culture and language.
형은 프랑스 문화와 프랑스어를 좋아하지만 난 한국 문화 하고 한국어를 좋아한다
My dad have black hair and blue eyes.
우리 아빠는 검은색 머리카과 파란색 눈을 갖고 있다
My mom, brother, and I have brown hair.
엄마, 형, 하고 나는 갈색 머리카락을 가지고있다
My mom has grey eyes, and my brother has blue eyes.
우리 엄마는 회색 눈을 가지고 형은 파란 색 눈을 가지고 있다
I have green eyes.
난 녹색 눈을 가지고있다
My father works at FedEx, and my mom works at Kohls.
우리 아빠는 페드엑스에서 일하고 우리 엄마는 코스에서 일한다
My brother teaches at Mid South Community College, and I teach at Seongnam English Town.
우리 형은 미드사우쓰대학교에서 학생들을 가르치고 난 성남영어마을에서 학생드를 가르친다
My brother is an English professor.
우리 형은 영어교수님이다
My family is kind.
우리 가족은 친절하다
Soon, when I go back to the United States, I can see my family again! I’m very excited!
곧 미국에 돌아가면 가족을 다시 볼 것이다! 정말 신난다!
However, I will miss Korea.
근데 한국을 그리워 할 것이다
My family should move to Korea!
우리 가족은 한국으로 이사해야 한다!
