This is one of thoses just us talking moments. I get it. Trust me
I say trust me. Then we all say trust me
Gossip: ones as cute as the other
Dallas: right?
We say right and are satisfied
Andy: it was wild how salad and gossip hit it off. Like mad. I didn’t really see anything wrong with it. I just thought they were becoming friends. But the motive masked it.
I come in as the drama teacher. Me: Dallas! Dallas! Here’s the script. For the fall production. You’re going to audition right? I have it out infront of me
Dallas: (takes the script) of course.
Me: great. See you at the auditions(vegans to exit but stops) check out the role of Julie! Dallas: thanks (I rejoin the ensemble)
Gossip: you mean, pretending to be someone else?
Dallas: what?
Gossips/teens: pretending to be someone else
Dallas; it’s anyone thing. The twins do it. So do Tim and Andy. Yeah. Now that I think about it, you should!
Teens snap there fingers
Leah: try out
Gossip: don’t forget to wait for me at lunch!
Me; wait for me
Shelby: messages
Gossip: did you get my text?
All the teens: all of them!
Gossip: Dallas!
Teens: (louder) Dallas!
Gossip: (louder) Dallas!
Teens: (loudest) Dallas!
Tim: the lead? Dallas is auditioning for that role.
Gossip: I know. But frankly between you and me can I tell you something just between you and me? It stays right here.
Tim/teens: sure
Tim: tell me what?
Gossip: promise.
Teens: I. Promise (we exit with fingers crossed behind our backs)
I come in as the drama teacher again
I give another teen a red piece of paper and then exits
