How does a mbr start receiving pay via direct deposit?
By submitting an SF-1199 to the SPO.
When does a mbr submit a new payment option election form?
Whenever mbrs payment information or option has changed.
What are the three methods of pay delivery authorized for Coast guard members?
direct deposit (this is mandatory, unless temporary waiver is authorized), mail check to a non-work address (auth by MAS w/ receipt of waiver), mail check to unit address (auth by MAS w/ receipt of waiver).
When are net pay advises issued and to whom?
To deployed cutters and isolated units on the 10th and the 25th of each month
What must the unit do to receive the net pay advice messages?
Must submit a one-time request via email or msg.
Can direct deposit be made into two accounts?
No, only one account can receive direct deposit funds.
What methods can be used to start direct deposit?
SF-1199, a void blank check, or a void blank deposit slip.

Which payment option must be approved by a mbrs CO?
Mail check to unit address. A CO may authorize this option when a mbr has no permanent address (lives on ship) or is in receipt of PCS orders
What is done with a mbr check upon PCS when his/her payment option is mail check to unit address?
It is automatically forwarded to the new PDS address. The mbr must submit a new POE with 15 dys of reporting.
When can a reservist have his/her pay mailed to a non-work address?
When approved by his/her district prior to 1Jan93.
When do you notify the SPO and PSC(MAS) if a units LES doesn’t arrive?
By the 5th of the following month. Only notify the SPO if 1 individuals LES is missing.
When will PSCnormally run a compute?
Approx. 10 days before each payday.
