What is Domain Name System (DNS)?
It’s a system that translates domain names into IP addresses.
What are Name Server (NS) records?
Delegates DNS management from one zone to another.
What are A and AAAA records?
A Record maps a hostname to an IPv4 address whereas AAAA maps a hostname to an IPV6 address.
What is a Canonical Name (CNAME) record?
Creates DNS aliases or shortcuts for hostnames.
What is a Mail Exchange (MX) record?
Directs email traffic to the correct mail servers for a domain.
What is a Tet (TXT) record?
Stores arbitrary text in DNS, often for validation and security purposes.
What is DNS Time to Live (TTL)?
Specifies how long a DNS record is cached by a DNS resolver.
