• suspect/accused from external police service Unit Commander of investigating division or Duty Senior Officer TPOC notifies officers Duty Senior officer of external police service
• suspect/accused from TPS Unit Commander/Duty Senior Officer notifies PRS
• no Supervisory officer available PC notifies DVI of pertinent facts
  PC notifies OIC if DVI not available
• OIC notifies appropriate Unit Commander or Duty Senior Officer if accused/suspect is a TPS member
• External Police Service accused/suspect OIC notifies their Unit Commander and/or Duty Senior Officer
