What is a indictable offence?
A Indictable offence is a serious crime, such as murder, rape, or robbery, typically punishable by imprisonment for more than one year or by death.
What is a Summary offence?
A summary offence is a less serious crime, such as petty theft or vandalism, typically punishable by less than one year of imprisonment.
What are the rights of the accused in criminal law?
