What are the rules of communication of acceptance?
A
Cannot be silent (Felthouse v Bindley)
May be communicated by an authorised 3rd party (Powell v Lee)
Possibly can be accepted by conduct (Taylor v Allen)

What must a Valid offer be?
A
Clear, Certain, Final, Communicated to Offeree and not, Rejected (counter offer), Revoked or Lapsed

What are the rules for valid acceptance?
A
Must be made by the Offeree, be a mirror image of the offer, be communicated, by the prescribed mode.

What are the requirements of Acceptance?
A
Must be a Mirror Image…there cant be anything left to say (Hyde v Wrench), Must be made by Offeree (Boulton v Jones) and in response to an offer (R v Clarke)…The motive is irrelevant (Williams v Cowardine). Acceptance Must be Communicated (Felthouse v Bindley)
