- fluoresceine dye staining of cornea
more significant deficit will have bright green uptake at the site
- corneal scraping - culture and cyto

- remove any mechanical causes
- what sx?
A
- broad spec abx: essential even if not yet infected
antifungals for mycotic infections
- debride and sx -> remove necrotic tissue
