I didn’t join this pageant just to showcase my beauty, intelligence, and talent but rather, I am here to fulfill my mission in life. And that is to be a role model of goodwill to my fellow youth. Joining this pageant has given me the big opportunity to inspire and influence my fellow Filipinas towards having a beautiful heart.
This way, it wouldn’t be difficult for you to have a brighter future and success in life.

Young as I am, I have been living the principle of simplicity. I embrace what I am and being contented on what I have in becoming the most beautiful person that I can be with the eyes that look only with the good in others, lips that speak only for words of kindness, and a heart that only loves purely and never hates.

I wouldn’t change anything at all. I would still remain who I am today because I’m already happy and contented of all the gifts that God has given me. I believe that even I have flaws, I still embrace them because those make me who I am and unique among the others. So to all my fellow youth, embrace your flaws. Don’t compare or compete with others. What makes you different makes you beautiful. Don’t let the crowd’s standards define you. You’re beautiful in your own way.

I would first thank God for giving me the opportunity of winning the title tonight. For I know, that to be crowned as Mutya ng Quezon Turismo will provide me a bigger platform where I can reach out to bigger crowd my mission of having this country a better place to live in. I’ll also thank Him for the people who never stopped believing in me and brought me onto where I am standing right now.

I believe I should be the next Mutya ng Quezon Turismo because I know I have the strength within, the patience and passion to pursue my goal in promoting what Quezon Province has to offer. I believe that for all of the transformations and developments to happen, we must become more responsible and more determined to reach our goals. To have a better life we must learn to feel more, share more, and love more. So, to all my fellow Candelariahins , let us be one with Mayor Boongaling for a successful Candelaria

Looking to the present, politics is a big suffering issue because of the many problems one of which is corruption, poverty, and undemocracy. As a Filipino youth, I want to be the start in exposing proper and righteous acts for the development of our country. I would rate President Rodrigo Roa Duterte 20 for he is credible enough to mitigate corruption and crime rate because he has great leadership skills that can contribute a lot to help the society. I believe that he possess qualities that a good leader has – loyalty, truthfulness, God-fearing and sincerity. Joining this pageant gives me the opportunity to tell everyone, we should have the wise mindset to trust someone who would serve our country well and know what’s best for each and every Filipinos.

I believe that he possess qualities that a good leader has - loyalty, truthfulness, God-fearing and sincerity. Standing here as a MNQ candidate gives me the opportunity to tell everyone that we should have a wise mindset to trust someone who would serve our country well and know what’s best for each and every Filipino.

My advocacy is to initiate a Gawad Kalinga project in Candelaria which is a cause that is dear to my heart because I grew up with loving and supporting grandparents and so I want to give back to the less fortunate by using my influence and encourage other people to be a part of this advocacy that I believe in.

I would like our country to recognize Quezon to be known as the coconut paradise, as it was the lifeblood of most common Filipinos. I also aspire to initiate a Gawad Kalinga project in my municipality to give back to my fellow Candelariahins. I will share my advocacy through active involvement in seminars, trainings and workshops in making quality coconut products and widen its market base globally. I will share my knowledge to promote specialty coconut products and uplift the lives of farmers and workers so we can have success in the coconut industry and promote tourism not only in Quezon Province, but also to the whole world.

CANDLE FESTIVAL

It is a feast where the people celebrate together in joyful events. The center of this festival is the candle symbolizing the burning devotion to Nuestra Señora de Candelaria as the people keep the streets of the municipality alight. For that to happen, the people must join together in cultivating our practices as Candelariahins. So let us join hands in our goal of being included in the tourism calendar of events making Candelaria a tourist destination that will help our municipality prosper.

Its beautiful traditions and festivities celebrating the Candle Festival where we Candelariahins learned to be God-fearing people who lives in peace, in love and in harmony. Under the excellent supervision of its government officials, Candelaria is now greatly transforming into a highly progressive municipality with its wide variety of business opportunities, modern infrastructures, and globally-competitive schools.

My favorite place here in Candelaria is San Pedro Parish Church. It is a religious place where we learn to live as Godly people and develop strong ties with the family and friends which unites Candeleriahins. And as a Filipino community, we are faithful people and places like our beautiful San Pedro Parish Church helps promote and preserve our culture.

As a beauty queen with a convincing aura of beauty, it will be my responsibility to promote certain events annually that will showcase all our local products, festivities colorful traditions with a dancing parade and activities based on the culture and spiritual tradition of the people of Quezon. I will serve as the ambassador of goodwill and encourage tourists to come back or consider staying which will help boost our tourism progress.

I believe all places in Quezon is the reflection of the province’s economic progress. I’m from the first class municipality of Quezon, Candelaria and we are known for the Candle Festival, the San Pedro Parish Church and our OTOP (one town one product), the desiccated coconut which I am very proud to say are exported to different parts of the world. Candelariahins are also beautiful, god-fearing people who lives in peace, in love and in harmony.

I believe I have the advantage my sister won last year because I do believe that if she did it, I can also do it. Nothing is impossible with faith and hardwork that is why I prepared so much for this pageant. I had given 100% time and effort to develop my potentials. And I am hoping that this night, I could also attain the same success that my sister had attained.
