to occur, to happen
can be used in present and past tense
a lot of times it can be heard in past tense because anger, irritation, excitement already happened so im feeling it right now.
especially when asking are you angry, mad (화났어? - has anger happened so are you angry now?)
ADJ. before N
C은 + N = 좋은 사람
Vㄴ + N = 나쁜 사람
Verb before N
verb stem + 는 + N = 무슨 화나는 일 있어? - is something upsetting you?
VERB - action = happening now
past tense same as adj = 화난 것 같아
ADJECTIVE - state = staying as it is, action happened in the past and is remaining that state

due to the global warming. flooding happens more often

Natural phenomenon - Sound, smell, taste (youre not doing an actios intentionally, something happens on its own)
this has no taste (so bland)( it doesnt taste like anything)
it smells good (good smell is happening and im sensing it)
it smells delicious
something smells (when said like that its often not a good smell)

im tearing up (when i listen to sad music i tear up)
i have a runny nose
