A

Sin is an action or thought that separates humans from God. The more a person sins, the greater the rift between them and God. By sinning a lot, Christians believe it becomes harder for God to save them from hell.

  • Christians believe that Jesus was sent to Earth as a gift from God, to allow them to rebuild a relationship with him.
  • They believe that people did not understand what God truly wanted of them, and that they needed guidance from jesus to get back on the right path.
  • Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross was necessary to atone for the sins of mankind, and allow them to have a relationship with God again if they wanted to.
