Haemoglobin
Red pigment that contains iron. Located in red blood cells, carries oxygen.

: liquid part of blood, mostly made of water. Transports blood cells, glucose and waste etc.

Ventricles: the lower chambers of the heart where blood goes when it leaves the atria

Pulmonary artery:brings deoxygenated blood from the body to the heart.

Valves: Gateways that open and close to let blood flow through the heart, and stop backflow in the veins
Pulse
Pulse: A wave of vibrations that passes through an artery in response to blood being forced out of the left ventricle.
Oxygenated blood
Oxygenated blood:Blood rich in oxygen that comes from the lungs.
Deoxygenated blood
Deoxygenated blood: Blood that comes from other parts of the body that has less oxygen, and more carbon dioxide. It must go to the lungs to get more oxygen.
Healthy heart
Healthy heart: A balanced diet, exercise and rest are very important for a healthy heart.
